What I absolutely love about Holly is that she always stands up for truth, justice, and what’s right—whether she likes the person in trouble or not. For her, it’s simple: innocent people should never be convicted.
The mystery itself is as twisty as the Cabot Trail, and I was on the edge of my seat as the story unfolded. Holly’s determination to uncover the truth, paired with her irreverent humor and quick comebacks, keeps the pages turning. The witty banter between Holly and the supporting characters had me laughing out loud more times than I can count. Susie Black’s ability to mix humor with suspense is top-notch, and she keeps you guessing until the very end.
