Here is April’s review:
Susie Black has done it again! An entertaining, well-crafted mystery with fun and quirky characters! This is the 6th book in the Holly Swimsuit Mysteries. Holly Schvlink has found herself at the scene of a murder of a swimsuit executive. This is not the first for Holly, unfortunately. She is now known as the "Mart Murder Magnet." She is going to have to solve this one after her partner and designer, Gary Burkett, is fingered for the murder to get the new line finished and ready for review. She also needs to keep from being the next victim.
This was a page turner and is solely responsible for my loss of sleep! I could not put it down! It is a great mystery with lots of twists and turns and some personal drama for Holly as well. It is refreshing and interesting to read a holiday mystery revolving around Hanukkah. Along with the laughs from the characters’ antics and the edge-of-your-seat mystery, you get the history of Hanukkah and the story of Holly's grandmother's escape from Poland. I enjoyed reading the nuggets of Jewish history as much as the mystery.
I don't have words for how much I enjoyed this book. I admit to being a big fan of Holly and the Yentas, but this exceeded whatever expectations I may have had.
Thank you, Susie Black, and I can't wait for the next one!
