When the cops arrest the store’s swimwear buyer—a woman Holly calls “the queen of mean”—Holly thinks they have the wrong killer, and we are off on a wild ride as Holly balances her busy career, two serious suitors, an ever-changing list of suspects, near-death experiences, and even two matchmaking ghosts. Cleverly plotted and featuring a delightful cast of supporting characters (you gotta love the Yentas and Holly’s therapy dog and sounding board, Siggie, among others), the book is not only hilarious, but you will leave feeling like a garment industry insider—which, you will learn, is a very cutthroat business. Highly recommended.
