Controlling my tongue has NEVER been one of my strong suits. My lips let the words escape before my brain stopped my foot from inserting itself into my mouth. I held my hands up in the air as if I’d been robbed. In a way, the same. “Whoa, hold on a darned minute. You told me to choose which division to give up. Why pull the rug out from under me twice? First, you’re making me give up something I want to keep. Now you take back the choice of which one to give up. Why are you doing this? Doesn’t it even matter to you which one I’d want to keep?”
