Today is Book Quote Wednesday. The word of the day is EARTH.
The life-size, color photograph of Butch Oldham resting on a large easel in the middle of a raised dais stood twice as tall as Butch in real life. He still looked the same as Humpty Dumpty, only now, on drugs. An elaborate, oversized marble urn with gold-leaf flower-shaped fleur-de-lys handles sat on a tall, narrow table next to the photo. Surrounded by gorgeous floral arrangements, the ostentatious urn held the last of the EARTHLY remains of Benjamin “Butch” Oldham.
